So then it was off into the great Arctic that is the city. I missed the L Train by seconds. LAME. But I only had to wait like 5 minutes for the next one. If only I hadn't had to buy a new Metro card I totally would have made it. But it was alright because I listened to Hannah the whole way to work! The walk seemed a little long today but it was alright. It was snowing and I LOVE when it snows! Especially in Green Point because the lights are up and it's beautiful!
So anyway. I got to work and Justin Bobby and Coors Light were both working [but they were both late!] and Jen was complaining about how those boys never show up on time and then she goes "You get a gold star all the time Jewlie." Haha. It was so cute! I love her. And she told me that she told Chris that I can work after break and I guess Chris got REALLY excited and said that I can work at Fred Flare all through college if I want to. Which DUH! I totes do. It's so great there. I really love it. And the funny thing is that I even love what I do. As boring as it sounds every time I describe it. I mean I do pack boxes and make them. But still! I love looking at the purchases and wrapping them and seeing who and where they're going to. Today we shipped a package to Rachel Ray [the real one!].
We also got a new guy today. His name is Mo. He's basically my savior because his job is to bag the boxes and take the carts full of boxes out and make boxes and restock them. Which is basically everything that we tried to cram into my job in addition to packing the boxes. So he's kind of like my mini-assistant. And he's a total sweet heart. We both had matching black hats on today! And I got to spend a lot of time with Jen. I love Jen so much. She was telling me how she used to date Jusin Bobby and how she hates his attitude and everything and can't stand him and she was like "I can't wait till the Holidays are over so I can just be like 'Okay thanks have a good Christmas NEVER COME BACK!'". I just love that she can divulge those kinds of things to me. Amanda looked super cute today too.
We listened to Chris' mix today. It's always the funnest. There was a Brady Bunch song and it totes made me think of Rob Croll. We used to LOVE the Brady Bunch! So I mostly packed today. I was a beast. Seriously. I've never packed so many boxes and I wasn't even really trying to go that fast. It was insane! And then around 3:00 I helped Diane wrap things. Diane is such a sweet heart. She's always asking me if I'm feeling better and asking me if I want some water or to take a break. And she always asks about home and my family. She's like my FF mom. Plus she's always SO grateful when I help her out. She's always thanking me and I just love helping her because you can tell it makes her so happy.
After work me and Fabi were supposed to go to H&M but it was ALREADY DARK OUT! And I was kinda tired and wanted to laundry and such so we didn't end up going. I did the last of my FF 50% off purchases. Including my Secret Santa present so that's all taken care of! Yay! But yeah. I did laundry and I worked on Kyle's essay again and then I talked to Susan and Fabi and now I'm just hanging out until Kyle calls and then I plan on going to bed early since I've been kind of tired lately.
