"Well yeah. He didn't zap them or anything."-Prof. Diyanni on God punishing Adam and Eve for eating the Forbidden Fruit.

So slept much better last night. Thank the Lord. BUT there was an almost fiasco. My alarm didn't go off this morning. Luckily I've been so diligent about waking up early that I woke myself up at the correct time. So I did my usual routine [I realize that I no longer have to list it, since I have the same one every day] and I gathered my school stuff [laptop, pen, Bible...? Haha] and me and Lindsay left for class together.

It's official. I LOVE CULTURAL FOUNDATIONS. I love everything about it. I love the professor; he's fabulous, hilarious, really entertaining, makes great pop culture references and is totally cool about everything you could ever imagine. I love what we're learning. I love the girl who I sat next to, who looks like Gabriella from High School Musical and the fact that she's in my least favorite class [Social Foundations] and also found that she hated the class and the professor as well. Heck, I even love reading the Bible. Seriously. I've been missing out. It's so interesting and it's like this really amazing piece of literature. And I totally get it. And it has so many agruable standpoints and everyone in the class is a good discusser [myself included] and it was just such an enjoyable period. I wish I had it every day all day. So yes. Many marvelous things to say about that class. And if you ever want to hear anymore funny Professor Diyanni quotes just let me know. He said like 80 million hilarious things today.

Then I went to Latin American Studies. Three really good things came out of that class. 1: No one else understood the book or liked it and every person said it took them 80 million hours to read the assignment. 2: When Professor Daremblum went over and discussed the information from the reading, it miraculously all made sense and I took down notes and now I understand most of what I didn't understand from the reading. And 3: I learned that Mike is a Latin American Studies genius. He read 60 additional pages from the Bible-sized book and took all these really great extensive notes and make all these comments about the reading. I was amazed. And extremely thankful since whenever I even look at "The Epic of Latin America" [yes, "epic" like "Bet On It"] I want to cry and my brain hurts. Haha.

Then me and Lindsay went to Starbucks and she went to the post office and I came back and organized my homework schedule, emailed my mom, checked my mail, and started to work on my homework. I worked on my homework until 1:40 and then took a short nap to rest up for the show. After I woke up I worked on my homework for another hour until I finished my Cultural Foundations homework for Monday. Then I took a short break and talked to Katie L. and Ian and then I started work on my Latin American Studies homework [someone shoot me. It's seriously the most painful reading ever and I want to kill myself everytime I think about it.] I read 20 of the 40 pages I needed to read today and then I checked my mailbox and grabbed some dinner to go [I've been craving fruits and veggies all day]. But I couldn't really eat anything because I was so nervous/excited for the fashion show! So I had a banana and talked to Kyle and Fab helped me pick out my outfit and lent me her Coach purse since I didn't have a good purse to take. And I talked to Kyle and then we were off!

So. The fashion show. OH.MY.GOD. I FLIPPING MET NIK FROM CYCLE 5 OF ANTM! And got my picture with her! And we saw Nigel Barker! And I took pictures of him! And oh my goodness it was so cool and beautiful that I cried. This show was proof that fashion really is living artwork. For those of you that don't know, it's Fashion Week in New York City. So all the designers have their shows this week at Bryant Park. And when I was waiting to be seated, this guy came up to me and was like "I really love your shirt. Can I take a picture of it?" And I was like "Oh...yeah..." Akward much? So yes. Here's the pictures!

Kayla, Nik and Me! This was the best thing ever! I teared up when I met her. It was so amazing. This was 2 things off my list of 20 things to do before I die. I met a famous person and I went to a fashion show. This was like one of the best nights ever. I loved every second of it. And I get to do it all over again on Sunday.

The rest of the pictures from the show are up on facebook in case you want to see more. And now I'm off to finish my homework. Ew. Save me! Oh well. It's the weekend.

Much Love.
Jewlie.

I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU SAW NIGEL!!! HE IS SO SEXY. It looks like so much fun. ...It was really weird because yesterday Mr. Burdick was talking about his new glasses and he was like, "It's fashion week In NY." and I was like, "Yeah, duh. I already knew that. God." But it was funny and it made me miss you because the only reason I know it's fashion week is 'cos of you.
