"Can I have a chocolate baby in a cup?"-Sam, ordering her ice cream at Cooks Dairy Farm.

Hey everyone! Just checking in to let you know I'm still alive. Summer has been pretty great so far, even though it's only been about a week and a half. I haven't seen as much of Kaity and Kyle as I would like to, but they're still in school and have finals and prom and all that jazz coming up. I've been spending a lot of time with Sam though. Love that girl! Last week me, her and Lauren Williams had a lovely sleepover. I missed having sleepovers. Even though at school every night is like a giant sleepover. I just said sleepover like a thousand times. Haha.

It's been great to catch up with everyone. Tonite I'll be doing a lot more catching up. It's Pops Concert so I'll be seeing Nick and David and all those guys. Tonite after Pops Brittany and Kaity are sleeping over! I'm so excited! I've felt kind of distanced from the both of them for a while, so it should be an epic reunion. I started a yoga class taught by my friend Courtney. Last week was the first week and it was amazing. Nick and Amanda are coming tomorrow, so it should be even more fun!

As to what I've been up to, mostly just reading, sleeping and burning cds. Yeah, I've had a sudden influx of mix requests! But I'm loving it! I wish making mix cds was like a living, it's amazing and totally chill. It's like the best way I know to just relax and reconnect with myself. Speaking of all that, I went to a seminar on Buddhism with my parents on Wednesday. It was so interesting. I wish it'd gone more in depth, but the ideas and concepts were so intriguing. I think I'm going to look into it some more when I return my first batch of summer reading books to the library.

Yesterday I got my first ever package from Fred Flare. Yeah, I know! I've never gotten an actual order delivered to my house before. I've always done warehouse pick up! It was so weird to be on the other side of the box, opening it instead of packing it up. Amanda drew me a cute little kitty and left me a note. It was so fun to the get package though! I immediately emailed Jen. I miss her and Amanda so much. Anyway, I got my Team Blair shirt and a new pair of sunglasses [ I know, I SO needed those, didn't I?].
The UPS guy came really early. Thus me not wearing any makeup. And looking tired. HAHA.
Awww I miss them too!
Yellow sunglasses. Yes, I know the sticker is still on!
TEAM BLAIR!

Yesterday I went to see Prince Caspian with Seano, Matt Bleau and Sam. Matt came to pick me up but got lost for an hour...? HAHA. Me and Sam were like "How does that even happen?!" But eventually we got to the theater and it was really good! The previews were good too. I can't wait to see Wall E! But yeah, the movie was so good. It didn't follow the book very well [which figures] but I really enjoyed it. Then we all went back to Sam's and decided to get ice cream at Cook's Dairy Farm. Me and Sam got baby cones. Baby cones are the best because they're cheaper than regular size and if the guy working thinks your cute then you get a lot of ice cream. Haha. It's a good money saving tip. When we got back to Sam's house we sat around for a while and then decided to play Rock Band. It was so funny because Sam goes "Well I can sing" and I go "I can play guitar" which left Matt and Seano to fight over Drums and Bass and at the same time, Seano says "I can play Bass" and Matt said "I can play drums" and voila, Freak Out, was formed! Yes, we named our band Freak Out. It was so fun, we were pretty good too! We had a lot of laughs and the time flew by because all of a sudden it was 3AM and we'd been playing for 6 HOURS STRAIGHT! I thought my fingers were going to fall off. And Matt was about to kill himself if we had to play Say It Ain't So one more time. For some reason we kept getting that song and some song by Nirvana. We must have played them like 80 million times. And it just kept popping up whenever we had a predetermined set list or did mystery set.

So yeah. As you can tell, I've been having a great summer and it's clearly only going to get better. I mean, El Paso here I come! Haha! I miss blogging lots and will probably do a vlog or another blog pretty soon. A lot will be going on in the next week. I'll definitely have one after prom so I can show you everyone's lovely dresses. But now I have to go shower and get pretty! Miss you all!

Much Love.
Jewlie.

"Just calling to check in on you because I can now."-My dad, awww he missed me!

This is me peacing out yo. It's summer and as much as I love the blog, I'm back in Michigan and let's face it: nothing exciting is going to really happen. Of course when it does you guys will be the first to know. But for now I'm just going to enjoy my summer and hanging out with Kaity and Kyle and everyone. I sincerely will miss this though. It's been a great way to document my first year of college and outside of a few random summer posts, I will for sure be back for Sophomore year.

So I'm officially on hiatus. But keep checking back to see if anything epic happens. Love you all so much and thanks for going through Freshmen year with me!

Much Love.
Jewlie.

"Girrrrrl how are you?!"-Mr. Jerolamon upon seeing me.

OMFG LOOK AT MY EMPTY ROOM!

That's right. I'm officially moved out of Third North. Forever. And now I'm home. In Michigan. For 3.5 months. But yeah. I'm home so I don't really feel like divulging in all the craziness that was moving out/saying goodbye. All you need to know is that yeah. I missed Michigan and am going to have an amazing summer. But also, I will miss the city more than you can understand.

Much Love.

"See you tomorrow. Our last day."-Lindsay, on our departure tomorrow! How sad!

Today was intense packing day. I woke up, FREEZING! It was like a flipping hurricane outside again today. All rain and wind. I watched a lot of Lost while I had some breakfast. I just wanted to laze around in my sweats all day! But eventually I had to get dressed and starting packing up my stuff. Everything is officially packed into a box or a suitcase, except my McFly blanket and my pillow. It's insane.
I've had a count down since Spring Break!
Those suitcases and box contain what's left of my New York life.
Only my hat and some makeup remain.
Shelves = Empty. Except a pair of Risky Biz.
Only the jacket I'm wearing tomorrow is left in my closet!

So yeah. That's what my room looks like. Crazy. Especially if you've ever been IN my room. It was very lived in. Me, Fabi and Lindsay all sold books back today. It was good to get some cash, I think I can skip a trip to the ATM for the cab ride to the airport. Then we all gathered up stuff to donate and took it down to C3. That took a lot of trips. Haha. We had A LOT to get rid of. We all had our last dinner together in the dining hall. I had to go print my boarding pass and my paper for Cultural tomorrow and I ran into Rana in the computer lab. We talked about Diyanni and Glassman's class. We're going to have a farewell breakfast after Diyanni's final with E. tomorrow. And then it was time for Gossip Girl! Our last Gossip Girl in New York! It was so sad not having Susan there. There wasn't anyone to say "XOXO Gossip Girl" with! The episode was so scandalous. I can't believe next week in the season finale. I'm SO buying it on DVD when it comes out.

But now I'm off to do some last minute studying for my Cultural Final tomorrow. OH! I got an 89% on my Life Science Final AND in the class. So yay me! 89% is like the best grade I've ever gotten in a science class. Haha. So yeah. Wish me luck and I'll see you all in Michigan tomorrow!

Much Love.
Jewlie.

"We're like practically related!"-Kelly's friend, on how we've both been to 12 Oaks Mall.

Today can be summed up in about 3 words: I watched Lost. Seriously. I wish I was joking but I think I watched over 6 hours of Lost today. I was so excited to be finished with Season 2...and then I realized we're on Season 4 NOT Season 3. So I'm still like 30 something episodes behind. Guess we know what I'll be doing this summer.

Yeah. I spent my day with these lovers.

But really. I did do some other stuff. Kind of. I woke up early and took my box over to E's place. I'm so glad the security people didn't ask me where I was taking that giant rolling bin because I'm pretty sure they wouldnt' have let me take it all the way to U-Hall. Luckily I escaped Third North with it and and my ultra heavy box in tow and got it to E. Of course then we talked for like 40 minutes in the lobby of U-Hall because we hadn't seen each other since like Tuesday. Which is a crime basically. We're going to study for Cultural a bit tomorrow so that should be good.

When I got back I watched my million hours of Lost. Although I did take a break to have some lunch with Fabi. So that was good. They actually had really delicious fruit. I can't wait to go home and have quality food all the time. HAHA. So then it was back to Lost. It's so flipping addicting! When I decided I had wasted enough of my life watching TV online, I decided to take some of the stuff we're all donating down to C3. Let me tell you. It's like the flipping mother load down there! There is this GIANT TV someone is giving away, tons of clothes, food, appliances. All kinds of stuff. I noticed people were giving away their text books so me and Fabi decided we were going to take them and sell them back for cash since people were obviously too lazy to do so. Free money!

I attempted to study the paintings for Cultural for a while but that got dull real fast so I talked to Kyle a bit. Then I really have no idea what I did. I think I got some dinner with Fabi and we talked and then I took a shower. But really, there's sort of a big time gap where I have no idea what exactly I was doing [which essentially means I was probably on Facebook doing nothing]. But I'm getting really tired now [which is odd since I haven't done ANYTHING today] so I'm off to bed. See you all in 3 days!

Much Love.

"We'll walk you to the elevator but we don't love you enough to walk you to the car."-Me, on not wanting to walk Susan outside in the Hurricane.

Today was my science final. I actually think I did pretty well. Like I definitely got an A or a B on it, which makes me a happy camper! I walked to the final with Lindsay and let me tell you, the weather was horrible! It was really cold and I already packed up all my coats and stuff so I had to bear it in a long sleeved shirt. So I took the final, it went well, etc and then I had to go drop off my library books. Oh. My. Goodness. It was like pouring rain and SO windy. I thought I wasn't going to make it! I was like getting blown away while trying to walk back to Third North!

When I got back to the dorm I had some Tomato Soup and decided to watch a TON of Lost. I literally watched Lost for like 4 hours. My stomach wasn't feeling very good so I was just lazy all day. And then it was time for Susan to leave. It was sad, but not THAT sad because we'll all be reunited in El Paso in less than 2 months! I took a nap for a bit but then I had to go back outside to deliver my Writing paper. The weather was so bad that I actually took a cab just to go like 10 blocks maybe. But honestly, it was worth it. So now I'm officially done with Life Science, Social Foundations and Writing II. Yay! Unfortunately I couldn't seem to catch a cab back so I had to like run in the rain and wind and I couldn't even use my umbrella because it was so windy, so I got pretty soaked.
Lindsay doing her best Cinco de Mayo pose.
Me taking a siesta.
On the way to Midnight Breakfast.

I packed some more stuff up because I have to take my box over to E's tomorrow. There's like nothing in my room. And Susan AND Kayla's rooms are completely empty. It's crazy. Kelly has started to pack up her stuff. Our room is like INSANE. She has SO MUCH STUFF. I have no idea what she's going to do with it all. It looks like a hurricane came through our room. Seriously. I watched a bit more Lost and then I had some tea to try and settle my stomach.

I had some dinner with Lindsay and Fabi in our dining room and then we decided to watch Zoolander because Fabi's never seen it. I forgot how funny it is! It totally reminded me of Stephen because we used to think he was a lot like Zoolander. So yeah. The movie is over and now, even though I haven't done ANYTHING [well I guess that's not entirely true but still] I'm exhausted. So I'm off to call Kyle and then sleep sleep sleep!

Much Love.

"I would, if I were bulimic"-P. on how she would go to Serendipity everyday.

So tonite was Susan's last night! I think I'm going to die without her. No joke. But I'm getting ahead of myself. Let's start at the beginning of the day. So I woke up this morning and I was really tired because I didn't sleep well at all last night. But I got up anyway and I had a tasty grapefruit for breakfast. Mmm! Then it was study time. UGHHHH. I do not wanna take my science exam tomorrow! But yeah I tried to study but I kept getting distracted and such. It was pretty bad. Haha. But I did get a lot of studying done. I swear! I feel pretty confident about it. Especially since Professor Nicholas put our grades up and I have a 94% right now.

I study study studied pretty much all day. And I took a nap. And a shower. And then I started to get ready because Susan, Lindsay, Fabi, P. and I had dinner reservations at Serendipity. Oh my goodness! It was so fun! We all get semi-dressed up and the restaurant was the FLIPPING CUTEST place ever! If you've seen the movie Serendipity then you've seen bits of the place. It wasn't what I expected...it was way cuter! So yeah. If any of you ever come visit me that's where I'm taking you. Plus it's right near Bloomingdale's [Hello 59th and Lex! The best train station in the city!] and a GIANT Urban Outfitters [Susan was like drooling over it] AND Dylan's Candy Bar which I've been looking for all year.

We got there and our table was all ready which was good because we were all starved! Like I said, the place was darling. And the menu was REALLY extensive. It's kind of pricey but it was our last night out all together [minus Kayla]. I got a tasty Black Bean Burger. It was sooo good. Everyone's food looked really good. And then, the surprise of the night happened. Guess who was eating like 5 tables over from us? Mr. Danny Zuko himself, John Travolta! It was so random! He was leaving and Lindsay was like "Look it's John Travolta" and he looked over and WAVED at us! Haha! It was awesome!

When our food came, we all dug in, but secretly we were all saving ourselves for desert because Serendipity is famous for it's desert. Especially it's Frozen Hot Chocolate [which we sell at FF by the way!] The deserts were massive! But I cannot even tell you the extent of the deliciousness. Sweet mother, it was all SO GOOD! Susan had Frozen Peanut Butter Hot Chocolate, I had a Sundae that consisted of 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream, one scoop chocolate and peanut butter drizzles, Lindsay has Peanut Butter pie with ice cream and chocolate sauce and a banana, P. had what Susan had and Fabi had Dark Chocolate Cake. We all tried a bit of everyone's. They were to die for! It's worth it to go just for the desert! AND the played Marie Digby's WHOLE cd while we were there, so I messaged her on Myspace to tell her.

After we got home, I changed into my PJs and talked to Kyle. We kind of had a bit of a fight yesterday. But everything is essentially alright now. And then you'll never guess who I talked to on the phone! Sam! We talked for like an hour about school and life and all the drama that is apparently happening back in Clarkston. We didnt' get to talk as long as we wanted because I had to go finish studying and get some sleep, but I'm calling her again tomorrow to talk for a while after Susan leaves.

That being said, I have to go finish studying. Wish me luck tomorrow!

Much Love.
Jewlie.

"How does the Dorrito song go?"-Fabi, she misunderstood me when I said Burrito Song.

Today was actually a really great day! We had beautiful weather, it was like 70 degrees and sunny! I slept in and washed my hair and then went to breakfast with Susan. We got it to go so we could eat outside in the warm sunny weather. We saw Fabi on her way back from her final and she sat with us for a while. After breakfast I studied for science and checked my email and all that jazz.

I made this little video montage of our first year because I was feeling nostalgic and missing Kayla. Plus I didn't want to study. So yeah. Enjoy it! I talked to Amanda from FF about Idol today on Facebook chat. I miss that girl already!

I decided it was so nice out that I was going to go study outside. I loved it. The sun felt so good on my skin. I even got a little tan. I know I'm going to be like the whitest person in Michigan since I hear the sun's been out a lot there. And I listened to "Another Dumb Blonde" by Hoku like a zillion times because it randomly got stuck in my head. I love that song. That and the "Burrito Song" are like the best songs ever.

At 3:30 me, Susan, Fabi and Lindsay headed up to Central Park to enjoy the weather and our last Hump Day together. But on the train ride there we were stopped for like 20 minutes. It was really freaky! Fabi was like flipping out. I love that girl. We never figured out why we were stopped but we eventually got to the park alright. We grabbed a nice sunny spot and watched the dogs play.

It was just so relaxing and so fun. Tomorrow is Susan's last full day! We're going to Serendipity for desert. Mmm! When we got back from Central Park we got some dinner and then watched out last ANTM together. Next week is the Cycle Finale! I can't believe it. I'm sure we'll all talk on Facebook about it. But now I'm off to work out and then study for a bit before I talk to Kyle. See you in less than 6 days!

Much Love.
Jewlie.

"Bustin' makes me feel so good!"-Random kid, singing "Ghostbusters" in the dining hall.

So last night was Kayla's last night EVER in the dorm! So upsetting! But we partied it up and went to Midnight Breakfast and had a classy Cinco de Mayo dinner. I had to get up for my last Cultural Class today at 8:00 and I got there and I was exhausted. And then, after like the WHOLE class had showed up, Professor Diyanni still wasn't there and neither was the sub. E. was running late so me and Rana called her and she was like "What time is it?" And we were like "...8:05" and she was like "OHHH NO! I'll run!" So we waited. And waited. And waited. And after HALF AN HOUR we finally left. But randomly Lauren, this girl in our class, ran into him near the Starbucks on her way back to the dorm and so she called and some of us met up with Diyanni in the Starbucks. He was doing really well. He'd gotten special permission to come to our class and then we didn't even get to have class because I guess there was a car accident which is why he was so late! But he was doing really well and he's going to be at our final next week so that's good. We were all worried about him. Especially when he didn't show up for class.

But anyway, me and E. went to Weinstein because I was supposed to meet Susan there but then I realized I don't get service in Weinstein and so we ended up missing each other because of this giant misunderstanding and I felt like a jerk. But Sue forgave me. Duh. I love her. But yeah. Me and E. had breakfast and then I came back to the dorm and worked on finishing off my Social Paper and my Writing Paper. Then I took a nap. SO GLORIOUS! Omg. I missed napping.

I had lunch with Fabi and then printed off my papers and sent them off in the mail. So I'm officially done with Writing and Social Foundations! I checked my mail and I got a really nice card from Mia thanking me for letting her stay here. And she sent me the CUTEST necklace ever! I love it! So that was a really nice surprise. Then I started studying for Science. That's pretty much all I have to do until Friday. It's really agonizing.

It says "Oui" in cursive. I seriously this it's ahdoorbell.

When I needed a break from Science, I started cleaning up the common room and packing more stuff up. Me, Fabi, Lindsay, Susan and Kayla all did. We got a lot done. After cleaning it was time for Kayla to leave. For good. SO SAD! We helped her take her suitcases down to the curb and call her a cab and I seriously started tearing up. The house will be so quiet! And so not the same. I'm already sad. And we wont' see her for goodness only knows how long! But definitely next year. Definitely.

What else...I had dinner with E. Yeah she's my lover. It was Karaoke night. OMG. It was priceless. Karaoke night basically means that the Dining Hall Staff sings really funny songs, really badly. I will miss them all so much. Val sang "I'm Bad" by Michael Jackson while Ivan did the moon walk and Ivan sang "The Greatest Love of All" and this one guy sang "I Believe I Can Fly" and then. THEN! This random kid decided he was going to sing "Ghostbusters" and OMG me and E. were CRYING we were laughing so hard. He didn't know how the part that goes "I ain't afraid of no ghost" goes and so he like sang it really long and slow. And then he goes "Bustin' makes me feel so good!" And that was it. We flipping LOST IT. It was the greatest dinner ever.

But now I'm in my room. Not studying. HAHA. But I'm off to go review some powerpoint slides and put my pjs on. I'm SO sleeping in tomorrow. And me and Sue are going to get the Miley/Mandy sunglasses so we can make a video. So fun! OH OH OH! Gossip Girl last night?! HOLY MOTHER OF GOD! So intense! I can't even describe it. Eric coming out with Jenny's dog walking boyfriend and then Georgina and Serena's sex tape...and she KILLED someone?! CANNOT wait for next week's episode. Night lovelies!

Much Love.
Jewlie.

"You look like a deal drugger"-Susan, trying to tell me I looked like a Cuban drug dealer in my new hat.

This is going to be short because we're mid-Kayla's Last Night In The Dorm party right now. Today was the last day of classes/work! It was so sad. Well not classes. Classes we just reviewed and such. And then I went to work. Work was really really sad because it was my last day. We were pretty busy, we had SO many boxes, it was insane! Even Diane was like "So many boxes!" But Mo, her and I packed all day. Then I made my last boxes and such. So depressing! Diane was so cute. She was like "Jewlie! I miss you so much!" She even got me this really cute pair of earrings, even though my ears aren't pierced. It was the sweetest gesture. And Amanda packed up my last order. I got the CUTEST PF hat. And then some stuff that my Auntie Sandy wanted.

Everyone was really sad to see me go. But Chris and Jen were really enthusiastic about me working at the store we'll hopefully have running by the time I get back, which would be awesome! So I said my goodbyes and it was so sad! It's so weird to think I won't work for like 3 months. I already can't wait to go back. OH! And I noticed Natasha wasn't there today and Jen told me that her boyfriend [of like...since senior year or something in high school] broke up with her this past Friday and I guess she moved back to Seattle on Saturday and quit! It all happened so fast! I didn't even get to say goodbye! So if you know anyone photographers in the New York area, tell them to go contact Fred Flare because we're in desperate need of a new one now.

New hat!
Earrings from Diane!
It says "We heart Jewlie Williams" Awww I heart Amanda!
This says "We'll miss you Jewlie!!! Keep in touch. Thanks for all your help! Love FF"
And it comes with a free pint of Haagen-Dazs!

But I'm off to return to the party. Full report tomororw. OH! And a run down of tonight's SUPER scandalous Gossip Girl episode. I'm like dying it was so good!

Much Love.
Jewlie.

"My life has just shattered"-Me, on the Empire State Building NOT being the color it says it should be on the schedule.

Today was a pretty good day. However, it's 10:14 and I'm tired and my mom is coming in tomorrow morning so this is going to be the blog: super short list version.

1. Slept in until 8:30. So good.
2. Had breakfast with E.
3. Went to my last science lab. EVER. This year.
4. Had a meeting with my Writing teacher. She LOVED my paper.
5. Got my new jean skirt in the mail. So cute!
6. Worked on my Social Foundations paper until it was finished. Yay!
7. Took down EVERYTHING off my walls. My room looks so empty. It's kind of sad.

8. Had dinner with Susan where we went on a mad food buying spree. I got chips, Lucky Charms and cheese sticks. Mmm!
9. Worked out and got ready for bed.
10. Currently I'm talking to Kyle. Can't wait to see him in 12 days!

So that's that. Life is good. My mom is coming tomorrow and I CANNOT wait. Fun will most certainly ensue! Let's make summer plans. I can't wait until it's warm. It's cold and rainy here currently. Boo. Smile it's almost Friday!

Much Love.
